My knuckles hurt. Am I getting Athritis?

It's cold, windy and dry. My thumb knuckle is killing me. The skin seems all tight over it, too. And no, it has not been up a butt.

BTW, it's more likely to be a different form of arthritis but one of the preventatives for gout is to have more sex, so keep your fingers crossed.

By the way, arthritis simply means "joint inflammation" so if your joints hurt you have arthritis. It's the why that is important.

I got a sore knuckle on my middle finger from using an angle grinder one-handed for an extended period of time. The finger was holding pressure against the trigger. It was really sore the next day. It's still a bit sore after 8 weeks. I'm not sure what I did to it.

I've been doing bad things with my hands this past week (read: Home improvements). Nothing got knocked or hurt. However, my whole life I've been doing bad things with my hands. Nuts. Yeah, will have Doc check it out next visit. Thanks to the insurance fairy it's not a big deal.

I sanded a lot last week. Hand finished. Stupid beech veneer. I mean, no big thing but fuck - there sure was a lot of it. 4 x 4' panels. They are beautiful now. Most of the sanding I did was between coats, but each panel has three coats of sealent on it. Chair rail. Got luck at Lowes where some idot had marked a gallon can of that real expensive floor sealant down to $5 for mis-tiny (it had no detectable tint?). The diamond hard stuff. Brilliant. Water based so no oil based shenanigans. Oh, and also had fun with the jig saw. Tommorow I start on base boards. When I get done with phase one of the trim (I am doing the crown after I finish tiling the living room) I'll take pictures. It's really nice now. But fuck - it is a lot of work. I also blew out my old funky router table. I had it rigged to fit my Bosh router. It was a cheap table with a nice fence. Screws and shit finnally just warped up and out and there was no replacing it. So I got another one, this time a Bosh table with the cabinet. I have to put it together. I already have a stand for it. Just recently built a platform for it so now it's on casters. But fuck man, the kitchen is a goddamn three ring circus and this can not go on. There are onions and potatoes all over the place.

Oh and pity me. I stepped in the worlds biggest dog turd and dragged it half way around the kitchen tonight before I noticed. Damn. That must have been one helluva turd.
