Why does Israel limit the amount of gas that the Gunt Strip can import? It seems like it might make the regunt even more gunterous.

Before the entire string section launches into a dirge of mourning for the poor gazans without electricity, call to mind that Israel was supplying (for free) all the petrol (for cars) lng(for the power plant/home heating use) and fuel (for oil stoves etc.)

The last time Israel shut down shipments of fuel was when the peaceful palestinians murdered some workers at the fuel depot. I wouldn't be surprised if this incident was because of more attacks.

The very fuel depot who's only purpose is to supply Gaza with fuel. And yes, it's been mortared again this week (just like every other week before).
