There are so many things about Palin you could talk about, that you choose to harp on this(?) is why a republican won the seat held by Kennedy in Massachusetts.
I guess the real concern is that her public statements reflect, time and time again, a Brittany Murphy-level understanding of the world, history, and the political framework of the US. Yet people keep escalating her to positions of national prominence, making it almost a certainty she will run again. She seems to be part of the ongoing drive toward anti-intellectualism that the country is engaged in.

THAT is a more reasonable criticism. One might also express doubt about her ability to deal with the political realities of dealing with Washington, or the competence to deal with just running the executive branch bureaucracy, let alone reforming it. Criticizing her for using notes or writing on her hand is anti-intellectual too.
