Just a few weeks ago, before the whole flower debacle, I was wondering where Faethe was, especially with all the OWS threads. She was a terrific loon, the only Tea Party member I respected, and all her grousing about Orlando was right on the money. (She might have undersold it, in fact.) This is all really bothering me more than I thought it would.

Terrible news, but at the same time I'm glad her suffering has ended. bN is poorer for the loss, but immeasurably richer for having known faethe.
It is sad to read of Faethe's passing. While we all can agree that she left us much to soon, I believe we can also take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain.

I haven’t chimed in, because my words seem poor in comparison to those around me. I did not know Rhonda well, except for her words and personality that shown through here.
Yet those words and moments were when I needed them most. There, during late nights that I already was feeling disaffected, detached, or lonely enough to spend time away from one world, would I find people to prop me up in another. Rhonda, or Faethe as she’ll always be known to me, was not just one of those, but an embodiment. She could be sweet, crass, angry, fun, wry, insightful, and it was because she could be all these that she felt so human to me, and apparently so many others as well. What was amazing was that she also felt positive at the same time, which made her someone you really wanted to be around.
This is what makes it so hard to say goodbye to someone I’ve never met. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you; if she touched us this much through words on a screen, I’m sure she must have seemed positively radiant of all those things in person.
I hope, when time has done what it does, that the darkest moments will pass, and leave you with those memories that you and Rhonda held most dear together.

This is a real shame. She was always such a passionate, pleasant person. I'm sure she left a positive mark on her real life friends and acquaintances, as she did here.
I guess the main point is the regular posters on bN liked, respected and, in some cases, even loved faethe and recognized her for a decent and kind person. What a nice way to be known. bN will miss faethe.

Why do all the good ones go early? This news makes me profoundly sad. Faethe was not only physically attractive, her mind was also stunningly beautiful.
I'll remember her the most for being civil, caring, thoughtful, funny, and above all classy.
We never met, but we had some pleasant discussions and even some arguments, but the arguments weren't as bad as some because she had a disarming personality that somehow translated online. (imho)

I never posted with Faethe, so I never got to know her, but it sounds like she was an absolutely lovely person who very much loved her husband.
I am truly sorry for your loss, Allan, and to the bN group as well - I'm sorry you've lost such a valued member of your group in such a terrible way.
