1. Gas is already over $6/gallon across most of the rest of the world.
2. The article is talking about the area immediately around Disney World, where prices for everything are jacked way up, because tourists don't know enough about the area to try finding better prices elsewhere.

If you want a good deal on gas buy an electric car. I would totally buy one if they were the same price as your average new car(like around $17-20K). I spend $600 a month just on gas now, shits killing me.

It rises and falls on that upward trend, depends on your time line. I'm quite sure speculators used Bush's invasions and this bullshit hand-wringing over Iran as an excuse. But price will trend upwards and that's mainly due to increasing demand and increasing cost of extraction and production. Depends on how you look a it.

And I'm sure voluntarily refusing to buy oil from Iran...a big player...will have an effect on the price we pay here at home...if not the rest of the world.

I have been looking into building one but damn batteries are fucking expensive. Like $5K for lead acid(worthless) and $20K for Lithium gel. Way too much money to worth the effort right now.

Actually I liked that Model X. Almost wanted to postpone my Model S for it.

The reduced door clearance is a big plus for shuffling kids in and out of it.
