Romney polls very well with independents. Using the GOP primary as your barometer of doubt is a mistake. The independents will decide the election. Just look at how good Romney does in the liberal states. He crushes the conservative GOP candidates.

You are a partisan moron anyway, so take it that for whatever you want.

He has a lot failed policies to answer for and a tremendous amount of debt that he accumulated. The value of the dollar is plummeting. His energy policy is a disaster.

If Romney is the candidate, he will tear Obama up in the debates. Obama has the corrupt press on his side and a greater number of ignorant and uninformed voters as well. So we will see. It is certainly not a lock for Obama.

Hard to say at this point, but my thought is that Romney has largely distanced himself from his co-runners' slew of hurrr and derp about women (he's had his moments but not close to the shit that Rick's been spouting off), so once Santorum and Gingrich are gone, a lot of the controversy will go with them. Also, I think if the choice is ultimately Obama vs. Romney, you are going to see a much lower turnout than you did in '08 - neither party is particularly enamored with their respective picks at this point and I think that will be reflected come voting time.

I think the whole GOP polepositioning is a shellgame, meant to distract and cause any participants in the system to question their own leader through their intensely mismatched bandleading, leading to lower turnouts overall and a more plausible underdog candidate somehow slipping through the mudslinging to become the corporations next top bottle.

If you charge the questions for a poll, you will get the results you are looking for.

If you select the participants in a poll, you will get the results you are looking for.

In the polls primaries taking place today in Mississippi and Alabama, Santorum will take first.

I don't know, and it's also perfectly possible that Rasmussen has cleaned up their act in the last couple of years. I was explaining how I assign credibility weights to various polls, and it's not based on whether or not I like the outcome.

Early hypothetical head-to-head polls have horrible track records. Carter led Reagan 62-32 in January 1980 and lost; Mondale and Reagan were tied in January 1984 (and Mondale got absolutely killed in the actual election); GHWB was leading Clinton by 15% in early 1992 and lost.

baron muchhumpin: he can't answer this question, i tried yesterday

just more empty blubbering from phil

I did answer the question. The press has gone beyond bias and is absolutely corrupt. They actually want Obama reelected, as they did in 2008. They are heavily invested in him. Just like you two hacks are. Difference is they have a responsibility, you do not.

When libs don't like the answer you give them, they claim you never answered it.

survived today's ride too.. man this weather is nice!

and of course they report bad stuff, as i pointed out, the non-stop birth certificate coverage - and hey look actual numbers:

Negative coverage for the president outweighed positive coverage in each of the 23 weeks included in the study. On average, 9 percent of the stories about Obama were positive, compared to the 34 percent of coverage over the same time period that researchers deemed as negative. That time period even included Osama bin Laden’s death.
