The truth is boring baron. Glad you survived your ride yesterday.

and of course they report bad stuff, as i pointed out, the non-stop birth certificate coverage - and hey look actual numbers:
Negative coverage for the president outweighed positive coverage in each of the 23 weeks included in the study. On average, 9 percent of the stories about Obama were positive, compared to the 34 percent of coverage over the same time period that researchers deemed as negative. That time period even included Osama bin Laden’s death.
Ducati appreciation moment
Btw, some guy took his bike off an overpass in Oakland a week or so ago. Expecting bleeding hearts and anti-biker glee, I was rather surprised at how balanced a lot of the responses were. Many of the people starting a post with "organ donor" were riders. A few comments about how low the guard rails are, which I found both illuminating and scary.

Yes, I did post back to you yesterday. Your position seems to be "I don't see a problem, therefore it doesn't exist." That's not going to fly so well in the real world. And it does make me wonder what else you don't see.

I dearly loved riding motorcycles, but I have not climbed aboard one since I got married.
I took on responsibilities, which I can only put down when I'm dead. It was my own free choice.
Besides, you can be the absolutely best rider there's ever been, and some asshole will still turn in front of you and then claim to the officer filling out the fatal accident report that they "didn't see him".

the sonic dildo: Romney polls very well with independents. Using the GOP primary as your barometer of doubt is a mistake. The independents will decide the election. Just look at how good Romney does in the liberal states. He crushes the conservative GOP candidates.
You are a partisan moron anyway, so take it that for whatever you want.
Mitt Romney is a man of pure intentions, who has never broken and law and never lifted a finger to hurt anyone. He is a friend to animals. He makes children smile and adults laugh with his warm, inviting demeanor. Mitt Romney is kindhearted and gentle. Mitt Romney is a gifted pianist and well spoken. Mitt Romney attends church regularly, gives to the poor and offers much of his time to charitable events.
Mitt Romney once saved a baby from a burning building; true story. He has fought for our country in no less than 7 major wars, including World War II and recently in Afghanistan. Mitt Romney has saved 1,578 of his fellow soldiers from certain death with his selfless heroism. Mitt Romney was been instrumental in forging most current NATO alliances. Mitt Romney regularly has lunch with the Queen of England. Mitt Romney is the secret president of MENSA, and build warp drive propulsion systems in his spare time.
Mitt Romney can fly, like Superman.

You seem to think that disagreeing is explaining. It isn't. For example, you responded "There really are no reproductive right interferences anywhere in the USA" after years of the far right fighting to restrict access to reproductive health services, trigger laws, campaigns to restrict liberties, insane regulations and waiting periods, invasive procedures and "expert testimony" that includes not one woman, you still have the gall to insist that.

Abortion is legal. Can't get much more freedom than that in reproductive rights can you? There is more than adequate access to reproductive care and contraception, Title X is quite clear on this.
As far as your endless rants on the hearing that did not include even "one woman", none were necessary. Do you know why? Because it was not about women. The debate was about the government forcing a religious institution to fund a procedure that was against its morals. Just because you and the White House and the rest of the left is trying real hard to make this a women's health issue, it is not. And, I have explained that plenty with you and I have shown why in your numerous attempts to make it a health issue, it was not.

Yes, you can. You can not have trigger laws that are prepared to make it illegal once Roe V. Wade is overturned, something the major republican candidates have vowed to do. You can stop passing laws that force women to go through insane procedures to gain access to reproductive care. You can stop passing legislation that strips reproductive care facilities of funding and forces insane restrictions on them. You can stop demonizing providers of reproductive care and woman who access those services. You can stop letting employers make reproductive health choices for women. you can include women in the conversation about women's reproductive health. In short, you can not be a republican.
The republican party is the part of "fuck you" to women. The fact that you don't see it is just part of the problem.

ABORTION
Some people think that abortion is murder. Organizations that perform them will feel the wrath.
pajamas: It's not comforting when the Republican party proposes INSANE things and the average republican goes along with it because "it's just not going to happen".
There are plenty of thing that happen on both sides that are insane. You are not immune.

And some people feel that bacon is taboo. If they work their asses off to make sure supermarkets shut down, they will be hurting a lot of people.
Why can't religious people, once they decide that something is against their religion, just stop doing that thing? Why do they have to lie, coerce and force other people to not do it as well?

no they don't. but when the party you 100% blindly side with talks about cutting funding to PP they don't make a distinction either, so ALL SERVICES THEY PROVIDE ARE AFFECTED - for you to claim this isn't the case shows you'll go to any length to twist and distort the true plans of your party

I see you are hoping, as are most Democrats, that this election will be primarily on social issues. It won't be.
This whole move by the Obama campaign to start this is exactly why they brought this up in the first. They are literally using this regulation to steer attention away form the horrible way they have managed the debt and the economy.

so which is it? The DEMs are super smart for forcing the REPUBs to actually say what their positions are on social issues, thus forcing their hand
OR
The REPUBs are just assholes and REALLY want to control people's personal lives and DO pander to right-wing crowds for votes, thus nullifying your entire premise

So what I'm not going to is backtrack across this entire conversation. You don't think that the Republicans are driven right now by the religious right who are determined to fight equality for homosexuals, access to reproductive services for women and key liberal social issues. So Obama somehow made this election about Social issues? You have a hyperinflated view of the competency of your own party. The republicans chose this battlefield. I hope they enjoy it.

ya know it's really interesting the belief in America that your opinion on what someone else does with their body is any of your business.
my mother-in-law grew up in Japan. she remembers her mother telling her that the lady next door had an abortion. My MiL's mother just mentioned it in passing and that was the end of it, no stigma, no judging, nothing.
But in America why do a certain, yet small, group think what other people do with their DRs, spouses, kids is any of their business?

It is exactly what I said. I won't say it is super smart, but it is working. What the Obama administration is is calculating and scheming. Maximizing the political gain from any and all issue.
Do you really think the announcement of this regulation was anything but?
Also trolling priests and bishops with contraception is not clever, it actually borders on desperation. The Democrats are desperate. Their record is just awful.

The irony here is epic. You seem to think you've proven something by just expressing your opinion, even when your opinion is insane. And then ignore anything that doesn't coincide with that world view.
Many women want to have control over their reproductive choices. This includes being able to get a safe, inexpensive abortion somewhere accessible to them in the event of a mistake, rape, etc. It also includes getting access to contraception in a way that is safe, healthy, responsible and inexpensive. The republican religious right is making that harder nearly every day in this country, through trigger laws, added regulations, stripping of funding, demonization of caregivers and about 20 other tactics. These tactics are making it harder for women to gain access to other reproductive health services as well. This is one reason, out of a number, why so many women have come to the conclusion, as I have at the beginning of this argument, that the Republican party is very much not right for them.
During the General election we will see if this is trivial.

This is completely incorrect. I done more than express my opinion with you, I have back then up the whys and why nots several times. I have countered nearly everyone of your attempts to rephrase and steer the argument. I have countered your claim on several levels on the differences between contraception and valid medical conditions.

Also don't try to play is as some type of "world view" thing as you know I am pro nearly everything when it comes to social liberties, and I make no attempt to ever interfere with a woman's right to her medical care.
