Biography

Texas Raider, on the truthiness of Truth, based upon a personal opinions and beliefs that we all hold and sunject ourselves to with our personal biases: Preach it brotha-man! Also,RANDOM ANIME DISTRACTION TITS! Because people that preach "truth", how ever true their "truth" may be, always seem to adopt a condescending and paternalistic way of communicating, and wind up alienating their audience. People are very easy to persuade. The problem with people that have found a "truth" that they ardently believe in, is that they stop thinking at that point, they don't seem to appreciate that the task of persuading someone about your "truth" takes at least as much thought and consideration as finding your precious "truth" in the first place. And so the "truth" holder tries to bluntly beat people over the head with their supposed wisdom. Imagine a preacher going on for hours on a superbowl sunday, and then being upset when people don't show up. Imagine an environmentalist at a press conference announcing the need to restrict and ban some otherwise normal activity, and being upset at the political backlash. To me these people seem very similar. And, subby, to answer your question point on, the evidence isn't telling them anything, YOU are, and you're being a dick about it.
