I never made a proper snowman from rolling the snow into balls before, so my girlfriend and I decided to do my first on Sunday. However, being that I've long since been assimilated into the internet hive mind, I did it in memes. And I took pictures.

Excellent! I spent time on Saturday afternoon making tiny Calvinist (and Hobbesian?) snowmen at an Ice Bowl tournament. Alack, a lack of pics.

My wife is from NC. She's absolutely amazed that we can get approximately 3 feet of snow (we got 33") on Saturday, and be at work on Monday. Hell, we went out to eat both Saturday and Sunday. :)

In Seattle if it snows six inches the schools close down, and everybody stays home from work. Except the people who don't know how to drive in snow. They go to work and sideswipe the parked cars of the people who stayed home.
